Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has deployed a high-level security delegation to Funtua to review and strengthen the security strategy across five local government areas.
The affected areas are Funtua, Faskari, Sabuwa, Dandume and Bakori Local Government Areas.
The delegation includes the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Commissioner of Police, Brigade Commander, Director of the Department of State Services and State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
The team is expected to meet with security stakeholders across the five LGAs to assess prevailing threats, review existing security measures and develop a more coordinated response to insecurity in affected communities.
The move is aimed at strengthening inter-agency coordination and improving security operations across the affected areas.
