Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has accepted his appointment as the Katsina State Coordinator of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign.

Radda, who is also seeking a second term as governor, said he was ready to lead an inclusive grassroots campaign across the state ahead of the 2027 elections.
According to a statement issued by the Katsina State Government, the governor plans to mobilise APC members, political stakeholders, community leaders, youths, women and other supporters across Katsina’s 361 wards in support of Tinubu’s re-election.
Radda thanked President Tinubu and the APC national leadership for the confidence placed in him and welcomed the inclusion of other Katsina indigenes in the Presidential Campaign Council.
The governor said the appointment of other Katsina representatives reflected the state’s record of producing professionals who contribute to major assignments at both state and national levels.
He expressed confidence that the experience and commitment of Katsina members of the campaign council would strengthen the APC’s mobilisation efforts and help secure victory for Tinubu and the party.
Radda also called on members of the Presidential Campaign Council from Katsina, APC leaders and party stakeholders across the 361 wards to intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the elections.

“We demonstrated our strength and commitment to the APC in 2023.
“This is another opportunity for us to work even harder, remain united and mobilise our people for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We are ready for the task, and Katsina State will play its full part in delivering victory for the President and our great party,” Governor Radda said.
The appointment places Radda at the centre of the APC’s presidential campaign mobilisation in Katsina, where the party will seek to consolidate its support ahead of the 2027 general elections.
