Governor Dikko Radda Joins Remi Tinubu, Abiodun to Commission Buhari Estate, Medical Centre in Ogun

Governor Dikko Radda joins First Lady Oluremi Tinubu and Ogun Governor Dapo Abiodun at a project commissioning in Ogun State.

Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda joined First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun and other dignitaries in Ogun State for the commissioning of major housing and healthcare projects.

The events formed part of the First Lady’s official visit to Ogun State, which also included the zonal launch of the National Community Food Bank Programme and brought together government leaders, governors’ wives and other stakeholders.

According to a statement issued by the Katsina State Government, Governor Radda participated in the commissioning of the 108-unit Muhammadu Buhari Estate at Kobape, Abeokuta.

The housing estate, named after the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, was completed by the Ogun State Government under the administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun.

Radda also joined Senator Oluremi Tinubu and Governor Abiodun for the commissioning of the Gateway Medical Centre of Excellence in Abeokuta.

The 250-bed ultra-modern hospital is designed to provide advanced healthcare services to residents of Ogun State and neighbouring communities, with a focus on expanding access to specialised medical treatment.

Food Bank Programme Launched in Sagamu

The official visit also featured the zonal launch of the National Community Food Bank Programme at Makun, Sagamu.

Food items were distributed to vulnerable and indigent residents as part of efforts to strengthen social intervention programmes and provide support to households facing economic challenges.

The series of events brought government leaders and other stakeholders together around housing, healthcare, food security and social welfare initiatives.

The activities also provided an opportunity for governors, First Ladies and other leaders to strengthen collaboration on community development and social intervention programmes.

Among the dignitaries at the events were the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari; Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate; Senator representing Ogun East, Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi); wives of governors and other government officials and dignitaries.
